what is rhythms?

 

THE INSTRUCTOR

As a movement professional I’ve worked in many fitness settings since 2008. Each experience taught me the value of varied movement and the importance of challenging the system as a whole. My holistic approach to life inspires me to teach a full body method to harmonize body and mind.

THE MISSION

To recognize the individual needs of each body. Build a framework to understand how we each experience movement. To move the system as a whole with an awareness on breath, alignment, control and fluidity. To advocate for body acceptance by using movement as self care vs. punishment.

THE APPROACH

Each session is 55 minutes of full body movements using the Pilates Method. Functional movement patterns improve flexibility, strength, mobility and balance. The Rhythms approach is designed to focus on movement and breathing to help us to feel more vibrant and move effortlessly in our daily lives. the elasticity of the fascia and muscles, elasticity is a property of youth.
