Community Yoga Flow

Aaron Robinson, Somatic Breathwork facilitator, recently completed his 200-hour yoga training in the vibrant landscapes of Thailand. With a passion for guiding others towards self-healing through mindful programming, Aaron seamlessly integrates breathwork and asanas into his classes. The result is a harmonious flow that not only nurtures physical strength and flexibility but also delves into the profound connection between breath, body, and mind. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your yoga journey, Aaron creates a welcoming space for all to explore the roots of yoga.

Working on your sleep hygiene as part of your health and wellness goals? Calm your nervous system and prepare for restful slumber using sound meditation. The vibrations of sound have been studied, and proven to effect fascial layers in the body (this is why you fall asleep sometimes, your body is just like “okay, I can let go now”). Diane will guide you through a gentle drop in but mostly you will be serenaded by different sound healing instruments such as crystal bowls and the ocean drum.

Somatic Breathwork

What is Somatic breathwork?

Somatic Breathwork is an embodiment experience. It takes you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. It lets you release unneeded energy within this network caused by repeating thoughts, feelings, and old narratives by discharging it out through your body. Somatic Breathwork employs circular connected breathing coupled with rhythmic music to produce a cathartic emotional release. This release may be in the form of moving, shaking, yelling, crying, or laughing. Using the breath, you will engage your innate ability to heal and sweep out any defenses, blockages, restrictions, or pains that hold you back from who you truly are and how you want to show up in this world.

What to know:

  •  This will be a 90 min session that will include intention setting, 60 minutes of breathing and integration.

  •  Wear comfortable clothing and remove any restrictive jewelry

  • bring Yoga mat, water bottle , journal (optional)

  •  Participants will be laying on their back for the duration of the Somatic Breathwork session

  •  Refrain from eating a heavy meal 90 minutes before the session

  • Participants must sign waiver before participating in event
